DOH!!

Have you ever done a whole blog entry and then didn't save or publish it? All it takes is the merest interruption at the most inopportune time and you're hosed. Oh well, it's just a blog. Paula submitted a topic to the Oxford Round Table and was accepted to present her paper this summer. So she's off to England to discuss how the consumers of the products of Artists value that product differently from the products of Scientists. I'm hoping I can go along and we can do another jaunt across England. We were planning an Austrailian trip this year but the new kitchen is quite wiping us out and how can we justify a trip to England (which we must do for Paula's career) and a trip to Austrailia in the same year. Especially a year that has already seen a very expensive kitchen remodel. Ain't gonna happen. Oh well, there are worse things in life.

I get to preside over the wedding of my friends Jenny and Josh next month. I think that's the coolest thing ever. They sent me their ceremony so I can practice. She was raised Baptist and he was raised Jewish so it's a wonderful amalgam of the two traditions. And I get to finally use the hebrew I learned in musicals at church as a kid. They have been living in New York (well Jersey actually) for the past few years but they are still coming to San Diego to have their wedding. This is where their roots are. Its all happening right in Balboa Park so it should be quite a swanky affair.

Countertops coming this Friday. Can't wait!

Didn't you do a wedding for some other friends? Have you done more?

This wedding sounds fun. I love weddings. Hey, what kind of counter top are you getting? We plan on doing new counter tops in the near future. Just looking at all the options. There are so many ones to choose from now. By the way your cabin in the woods looks very inviting, and sooo relaxing. Your trip to England sounds fantastic, even tho it was pushed on you, I hope you go too, Tim.
